Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

An aircraft ferrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the jet's front window, per an announcement which stated that all passengers were secure.

"The aircraft touched down in accordance with established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, among them Secretary Hegseth, is secure," an official representative commented in a online announcement.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This event isn't the first occasion that a US military aircraft transporting a high-ranking official has experienced mechanical issues.

Months ago, a American military jet ferrying Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to turn back to the US capital after experiencing a mechanical fault.
