Trump's Granddaughter Gets Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for significant competition

The rising star maintains considerable online audience

Kai Trump can count on plenty of high-profile cheerleaders as she begins her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses numerous international courses and often competes against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa practically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

While still amateur, Kai has competed in only three events in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He is the best player worldwide," Kai expressed.

"And he's a more impressive person. He suggested me to go out there, relax, adapting to the flow."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials stated that Kai's presence brings golf to new audiences, specifically among the next generation.

Kai has a massive following and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness company.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
